How to Order

Please place your order through your local specialty retailer, designer, or design showroom, and be sure to note the following for each piece you wish to order:
    •    Item Number
    •    Description
    •    Finish
    •    Indoor or Outdoor formula
    •    Quantity

Also, for planters, please be sure to indicate if you want drainage holes in your pieces. Please note that our planters come standard without drainage holes.

Care and Maintenance

All Piage & Pieta pieces are coated with our own stone sealer. The finest protection available, our stone sealer provides extraordinary protection for our finishes. To maintain factory finish, re-apply Ancient Mosaic Studios’ Stone Enhancing sealer every 6 to 12 months. It takes only a few minutes to apply an even coat of the sealer and then wipe the piece dry. To achieve a naturally antiqued finish, place piece outside and do not re-seal.

Most dirt and debris can be removed with plain water and for more thorough cleaning, use a PH-neutral cleaner such as Simple Green (available at most grocery stores). Do not use a power-washer and avoid ammonia based cleaners that can break down the sealer.  To maintain the factory finish, acidic contaminants should be removed reasonably quickly since over time they may begin to penetrate the sealer and stain the piece. Again, many people prefer to leave the piece untreated and simply let it age naturally.

Warranty

All Piage & Pieta pieces are hand-crafted and colors/characteristics will vary; roughness, surface variation, surface cracks, indentations, etc. are part of the design on many pieces and are not defects. These aspects enhance the character of the pieces.

Piage & Pieta pieces are warranted to the original purchaser for the period of two years from date of purchase, to be free from defects in materials, and workmanship. Piage & Pieta warrants that pieces deemed defective by the sellers, covered by the warranty, will be replaced or repaired (at the seller’s option) when returned to the factory at purchaser’s expense, during the warranty period. The replaced or repaired pieces will be shipped back to the original purchaser at no charge.

This warranty does not apply to any piece which has been damaged by freight or accident or which has been misused, altered or repaired by anyone other than seller. Pieces must be re-sealed on a regular basis if retention of the factory finish is desired or warranty on finish is voided. Pieces made with the indoor blend must not be used outdoors. No person is authorized to assume for the seller any other liability in connection with the sales of the products. In no event shall the seller be liable for any incidental or consequential damages related to the merchandise purchased from the seller.

There are no warranties, which extend beyond the description on the face hereof.
